The Bible Can Reach Anybody

A few months back I watched the movie Amistad and i don't know if it is because I'm a little older but I do know that i noticed this because I'm more in tune with God. Because for the first time I noticed the scene in the movie when the African man who took the bible from the missionary started teaching Cinque what the bible actually meant. In the movie the Africans didn't understand a single bit of English so they could not read the text to understand what it meant, but through visualization and the holy spirit they were dead on. He began by telling the story by saying in the Beginning of the book the people seemed to be bad and in trouble and leading towards destruction, and one day a man came who the light always followed and when that man came they found peace. He told him the man was healing the sick and doing many good things but the people still wanted to kill him. He told Cinque how they did eventually kill him but he came back and then rose back up into the sky. After he finished telling the story he said to Cinque that he cant wait until they kill them so that he may experience what the book was telling them. Through all of this that man was touched by the spirit of God he realized everything he needed to know just from a few pictures. Today about 95 % of American adults can read so we have no excuses to not understand the purpose of Jesus Christ. This man realized the purpose of Jesus the Savior by just looking at pictures and was able to spread the gospel why cant those of us who can read and write decide that we don't want to understand. Through the grace of God and our own free will we can reach a better understanding and pass the word on to anybody. Just if we give up our hearts to God.
